Argolida Cup - AO Porou 4-1 Asklipios

Poros beat Asklipios 4-1 at KE Poros stadium.

Poros took the lead in the 6th minute through Bourikas and then doubled the lead in the 19th minute through Zoras. Ksidis made it 3-0 in the 21st and added again in the 61st. O. Serianai scored for Asklipios in the 64th minute to make it 4-1.

Poros will now play with Saronas in Phase 2, who beat Driopi away, score 3-4.

AO Porou played Greek A Division club Asteras Tripolis in a friendly Tripoli on August 16. The A Division club proved too strong for Poros but a good test and experience for both players and management. Apostolidis in the 29th minute had a one on one with Poros goalkeeper Giourgousis who saved, but Bakasetas was there to slot the ball home and make it 1-0 for the Premier Division club. Three minutes later, Bakasetas made a good run into the box where he was brought down and Ivanox doubled the lead from the spot. In the 35th minute, Asteras showed their class in play where the ball was neatly brought down by Ivanov where he slotted home from a distance. Karabelas made it 4-0 in the 85th minute with a header. This was a strong friendly for Poros and despite the result, there is nothing but experience gained from these type of games.

Poros won their first game of the season against Asteras Magoulas at Galatas Stadium. Poros took the lead in 10 minutes when Zoras put the islanders in front. Asteras Magoulas did not threaten the home team, but a well deserves three points for Poros!

Vrasies 1-0 Poros

Vrasies won this bottom of the table derby by beating Poros 1-0 with a substitute Koutsokostas header in the 78th minute. Vrasies missed a penalty in the 72nd when Sotirakis saved Katsoudas' shot. Both teams finished the game with 10 players after Adamis of Vrasies and Maniatis of Poros were sent off. Adding insult to defeat, Poros also raised their concerns with Referee Giannopoulos' decisions.

Atromitos Chiliomodiou 1-1 Poros

Poros earned a well earned point against Atromitos Chiliomodiou on Sunday. Kostis opened the scoring for Poros in the 37th minute. Atromitos did have a penalty claim in the 56th minute when Mpompos appeared to stand in the way of Mpalafas. Atromitos in the 64th minute equalised by Kapogiannis goal scored via header from a Georgari corner.
